Morning class and social at Kulturhuset
We didn’t go on that late on Friday, so we hope you’re ready to dance again at 11 AM. Coffee and other breakfast items can be bought at the cafe downstairs, while the dancing happens upstairs in “Laben”.

Jazzy tour of Oslo
The jazzy tour of Oslo will take you around to some of the city’s most famous sights through different riddles and challenges. It’s a nice way to get some new friends and to see some of Oslo. The jazzy tour starts just after the social dance at Kulturhuset, and ends at 16ish. It will let you stop by Stortorvet for some live music, if you want.
Jazz cafe at Stortorvets Gjæstgiveri
This is an external event (not organised by us), but it’s worth visiting for live New Orleans jazz in a historic venue. Please buy some food or drinks, and give a donation to the band. We might be able to reserve some space for dancing, but it’s a popular event, so we’re not sure yet. The band playing this Saturday is Bergli/Andersen quartet, and their style should be a nice fit for us lindy hoppers.

Oslo Django Club at Brygg
This is an external event (not organised by us), but it’s worth visiting for live jazz (and good beer). Touché Monet is one of Norway’s best string swing bands, and this Saturday they play together with guitarist Jacob Young. Free admission, but you should of course buy some drinks/food – they’ve got a great selection of microbrews and some nice street food.

Sunday September 29
Social and sauna at SALT
It is a kind of art installation inspired by Norwegian fish preservation culture, but SALT is also a stage, bar, sauna and streetfood stalls, just opposite Oslo’s opera house. During summer they’ve invited us to DJ and dance there, and now we’ll be back for OLX, with discounted admission to the sauna and (free) outdoors dancing. Remember to buy sauna tickets here in advance to get the discount.
